Workshop on Good Touch and Bad Touch
“There is nothing more precious to a parent than a child and nothing more important to our future than the safety of all our children”
Every child needs to be taught that their body belongs to them and they have a right to protect it. A workshop was conducted on ‘Good Touch and Bad Touch’ for the students of Nursery, to create awareness among them. The teachers showed a PowerPoint Presentation to the students so that they could understand the difference between good and bad touch.
The workshop was conducted to teach the children how to identify the ‘No Touch’ areas, understand who are ‘Safe Adults’ and how to clearly communicate with parents about any bad experience .The workshop also highlighted how to handle a bad touch by shouting ‘No’, running away from a person and informing a safe adult about the same. With this session, the children will now be able to recognize and protect themselves against such dangers from an early age.
